EMPATHISE
We understand your projects’ requirements by meeting with key business stakeholders and project sponsors to understand key performance indicators. We then discuss the concept with potential users to validate the service need and essence in the lives of your customers. Next we conduct competitor analysis to see how to best place your service in the market for optimal success. We research best design practice in relation to the key features and functionalities envisioned for the service.
DEFINE
We play back to the team our research and define the key problems to be solved. This leads us to customer archetypes or personas, user journeys.
CREATE
We bring the team together to co-create, in brainstorming sessions we play back customer pain points and try to creatively solve how to reduce friction and increase the user experience. This phase is critical as it gives the team the opportunity to give input into the to-be solution.
PROTOTYPE
We get into designing and mocking up how the application may look. We start from low fidelity paper-based mock-ups all the way through to high fidelity and clickable prototypes. At each stage we are showing the application to users to get their feedback allowing us to refine and improve the solution.
TEST
We conduct usability testing to pick up any user issues with the application which allows us to make final changes before development. The project team then has a solid solution and can go into development alongside usual project activities such as feature prioritisation, user stories and sizing.
